These pages explain how Jumbly currently handles gameplay, device storage, analytics, optional accounts, sharing and your rights. We will update them as the platform evolves.
Current Product Scope
Jumbly is a local-first daily puzzle platform. This page records current limitations, affected features, useful workarounds and areas being improved.
Known Limitations
- Most player data is saved on this device unless optional account sync is enabled later.
- Friend, leaderboard, referral, and social features may use clearly labelled sample data until account sync is available.
- Labs and Future Originals are works in progress and remain outside the main daily shelf.
- Missed archive puzzles are currently view-only.
- Some notification and email options are not currently available and will not send messages.
Gameplay Areas To Watch
- Daily puzzle rollover should unlock a fresh puzzle without losing yesterday’s completion.
- One Puzzle, One Score should prevent score improvement after completion.
- Hints should help without spoiling the answer immediately.
- Share results should never include hidden answers.
- Mobile boards should remain playable on narrow iPhone screens.
Privacy And Storage Notes
- Clearing browser data, private browsing, or uninstalling the PWA can remove local progress.
- Cookie and analytics preferences can be changed from Privacy Controls.
- Feedback may be saved on this device when online delivery is unavailable.
- Do not include private information in screenshots or bug reports unless requested.
What To Report
- Crashes, error boundaries, broken routes, frozen overlays, or pages that cannot scroll.
- Puzzle states that reset unexpectedly or stay locked after the next daily rollover.
- Confusing rules, unfair clues, ambiguous answers, or feedback that seems incorrect.
- Login prompts that block normal play.
- Any unexpected ad, payment, or aggressive upgrade prompt.
